For Thursday's agenda: A request for a visit to the site. (see email below) This would need (1) agreement from Stevenson & Williams and (2) agreement from UCOL shareholders. Does anyone have experience of the OPIA annual bus trip? I presume that viewing from the road (with some explanation from one of us) might be an option without requiring access on to the site - if we wanted to do that. An item for tonight's agenda

Antony Hamel, lawyer, will be presenting (for 15 mins) at the Housing Summit being held in Dunedin on 28 Feb, on the topic "Inner city developments: joys and pitfalls". He plans to speak about some common themes that he has observed in working with 5 or 6 clients involved in housing developments in the city. Our project is one of them - Antony is lawyer for a number of shareholders. Antony is asking whether he can name us and speak specifically about the project, or whether we would prefer not to be explicitly mentioned. He also encourages one or two of us at least to come and be part of the summit - it is an all-day affair 9.30am-4.00pm at the Otago Museum. Sent from my iPad

Update on foundations design progress

Updates on Foundation

HI all, I spoke with Stefan yesterday. He spoke with Engineers yesterday morning. There was some clarification of “who instructions need to come from”. That has now been clarified. Following that, they have ensured we’ll get the detail we have been waiting for by yesterday/today. As they haven’t sent this yesterday, we are hoping for this to be done today. Once the detailed is received, it will be forwarded to the QS and he will estimate quantities. I’ll send another email as soon as I hear from Stefan. About the soft spot? Not seen anything to suggest there has. Is it feasible to move the whole alva block? Probably not. Could we get rid of the dcc unit and make the block shorter and avoid the soft spot that way? Could alva become an L shape with the soft spot unit at right angles to the others?

Updates from our Project Manager - Site works

Hi all, Just a quick update from my conversation with Stefan Box today. Basically, we are waiting for information we need from the engineers. The QS is ready to finalise the schedule and provide a list of quantities as soon as the engineers provide the information requested. Once we have the quantities from the QS we should be able to calculate the cost of the work. I will follow up on this and provide an update tomorrow as requested.
