Kia ora koutou I am proposing a slight change to the letterbox we will order. After Tim gave the all-clear space-wise, Warren and Kristin advised me to check with NZ Post. Michelle, who's delivery manager, said posties find them "horrible". Mail will get damaged. She strongly recommends us to look for an alternative. After scouring the Mitre10 and Bunnings sites, I found only one: * It's called the Sandleford Black Multi Unit Letterbox * Bunnings lists it here: https://www.bunnings.co.nz/sandleford-black-multi-unit-letterbox_p3210389 * Sticker price is $59.98, no bulk discount, University staff discount of $3, so $57, slightly more than the $45 one from Mitre10. * Michelle approved it. * Plenty in stock in South Island - about 2 weeks lead time. * Only available in black. * Wall-mountable. * Given its horizontal orientation, a bank could consist of 3 rows rather than 2, so the bank can fit easily. * Pictured below. Does anyone have serious reservations or objections - or want to discuss this at a meeting? If I don't here of that, I'll proceed with an order on Monday. Also, regarding parcel delivery, Michelle wanted to see the site before giving advise about parcel delivery options. I'll meet her next Friday 2pm on site - I'm assuming outdoor access is unproblematic. Should you have an interest and an opportunity, please join this parcel party. purple shoulder bag missing

Friends, I am missing my purple shoulder bag, since last night. It's not in Liz's car, and not in the house I'm staying at. Not at the house I went to before dinner at home. Not in my own car. I don't know if I took it to the meeting last night - did anybody see? It contains a bright orange case with my glasses, a bright orange wallet, and other important things. This is from the latest version of the cohousing agreement: The use of common facilities creates obligations to contribute to the functioning of our community. Mauri mahi, mauri ora. - Do the work, get the treats Resident members are to attend Group meetings and koha time to one or more of the following: * Participating in Work Groups. * Contributing to community working bees. * Helping prepare shared meals. This is from the kitchen group notes from this week: As we talked about and agreed last meeting, everyone will be involved in preparing shared meals. You will be asked to volunteer for cooking once or twice a month Some of us did discuss this at the last induction day, checked the wording was correct, and were told it is correct so not everyone has to help in the kitchen if that is not their thing. Is there a later version of the cohousing agreement? Regds roz
