Hi All,

Pip and I are looking at getting www.euroblinds.co.nz for some of our windows.

Similar to this clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAXSXqYwMcM

The benefit of these blinds is that they move with the window sash or door. So for instance if you wanted blinds on your glass back door and you didn't want to have to open them every time you opened the door or wanted to leave your blinds down and still come in through the back door, then these blinds work really well.

Also if you want to have your windows open at night during the summer months, but don't want curtains blocking the tilt opening these are also a good option.

I have had confirmation from the window supplier that these would work with our windows even though the reveals are rather more narrow than the ones shown on the clip above.

I am organising to have a sample set up in H1 so that we can sort out the fixing detail and so that others can see the blind in situ and decide if this is something they would be interested in. It is possible that if we order a decent order that we could get some kind of discount.

As the blinds are made in Mosgiel the lead time would be very short. Perhaps only a week or two.

Cheers,

Tim.
