Very sorry for not replying sooner!! Things got super busy, and I let a few emails slip by.
I’m wondering if it might make more sense for the students to do a site visit and hear from a combination of you, Tim Ross and/or others? I have a couple afternoons (15 May from 1-5pm, and 22 May 1-5pm) reserved for site visits later this semester, but I haven’t yet organised the details.
I have 63 students this semester; we just did site visits to their project site on Wakari Road, and it worked well to stream them into two groups of about 30 each. So if you and others associated with the High Street Cohousing group are keen, then I could imagine bringing one group of students to the site from 1:30-3:00pm, then another group from 3:30-5:00pm. Perhaps the format could be something along the lines of what Dan Windwood and I experienced during our visit to the site as DCC employees a few years ago? We sat through a brief PowerPoint presentation which gave us an overview of the project, then had some time for discussion and a guided walk around the site.

I’m also organising another lecture series outside of Otago Uni, which I’m going to reach out to Tim about, FYI. It’s an exciting project you’re a part of and nice for people to learn about it. J
