Here’s a brief update on progress in working through the defects people have reported in their units.
Yesterday, Stevenson & Williams was on site for a run-down of the complete list. There’s been confusion between the original list dating back to April and a second series of defects that have come to light as we’ve settled in.
Many of the original defects have been dealt with and yesterday some from the second list relating to doors and windows (the speciality of Stretch, the highly competent and likeable—not to mention tall—builder who was here yesterday) we’re fixed.
We’re now in the process of combining all oustanding defects into a single list, which S&W will assign to the various tradies (plumbers for leaks, painters for scratched doors, carpet layers for floors, eHaus for glazing, etc) who’re qualified to sort them out.
