Hi folks,

We’ve had this email from a family friend regarding what they describe as a near miss at that exit. Note it could just as well refer to a visitor as a resident, but it raises an important safety issue. Maybe the signs group could take this on. I would suggest a caution line painted on the driveway as a possibility.

But meantime… a reminder to everyone. It will be easy to be watching right as it requires extra time looking past angle parks, by which time something could be whizzing up the hill to the left.

We were driving past one evening and someone coming out of that driveway didn’t look or probably couldn’t see us coming given all the parked cars on the road (they were turning right towards High st). It was a close thing to be fair. Anyway thought I’d mention it just to suggest one of the road mirrors opposite might work wonders.
