Hi all again. As a follow up from previous email re Tiles 2 things to highlight: - PCG ( Project Control Group , met on Tuesday morning) was on the idea that it's much simpler for individuals to sort tiles BUT I received messages from people that would prefer if I could still help them with this and I am happy to do it though PLEASE do get to me sooner rather than later because it will be easier and if it is now we could get good specials. - I have 1st. feedback on costs & samples etc : from Tile Centre. See images attached, colour coded showing Price list & samples. Also VERY IMPORTANT!! If you want to get these at these prices the deposit has to be paid this coming Saturday 21st. I have also showed a PDF of things in real bathrooms of the ones we have done for other people , the strip on different colours add some colour but it not necessary but if you do add these you could actually get them later , not hard to find and cost wise for a strip in the bathroom is about $1.2/tile x 30-40 tiles = not much. As a rule of thumb for a tiled floor and bath ( like the D units) you will be looking at $500.
I will try to go to "Timeless" tomorrow and check their prices and if they offer any specials.

Hi Tim & Co Housers !! ,
*Tim: Very important *if you can confirm my *assumption taken (see below)* from drawings, also because there has been some changes/variations I might not be totally aware of or not having the latest drawing - something like the Shower in lieu of Bath for D1 (Anna & Anthon) .
*To all Cohousers !!* ( may be Mike & Ros exempt) Most units will need tiles, either a single strip of splashback. Tim can explain this later. !!You can go and buy at your leisure or do with the group, your choice. I think in this case and at this point where SW is hurrying us up - & given this current situation of coronavirus and perhaps short of supply from China, Italy, Europe - there may not be a lot savings on buying it in bulk so for those who know what they want they can start looking at the "sales. I have made up a list on our shared spreadsheets , but I will update it *tonight !! and will include wall & skirtings*
*Summary of who needs what * *Floor Tiles . *
- *All D units ; M3 ; M1 ( I think) & A6 *
Wet floor showers : A6 & D1 ; Tim Could you please confirm the floor detail? I think you specified "Marmox" ? will it need to be raised ?
*Wall tiles (incl. splashbacks & skirtings) * *- All units need wall tiles !!* ( Excepet Mike & Roz I think) Note, this it might only be 1 tile behind the wash hand basin - TIm please confirm A1-A5 = WHBasin Splashbacks only , 200x700mm (guess) x 2 A6 = Wet Shower ; Bath ( splashback) & Basins H1-H3 = WHBasins x 2 C1-C6 = WHBasins + Skirtings ( but I think is wrong or not required) D1= Wet shower + WHBasin x 2 + skirtings D2-D6 = Baths ( I believe it should be better to make these walls up to ceiling) + WHbasins x 2 + skirtings.
Remember I will update quantities on the spreadsheet ( see link below) tonight:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MUVuwH00hzQfu7v_MPmA9qnZVesmlP7cMiev... And will send some examples of simple choices also ( and hopefully tonight ) and will chat with Tile Centre tomorrow and possibly 1 other supplier.
