Dear Rosemarie

I won’t be at the meeting tonight, but want you to know that I want to help with grass-clearing and anything else on your land. I KNOW about having one’s gardening efforts ruined.

As far as the grass is concerned, could we offer some (milking?) goats a short holiday?

Claire

Hi everyone

In the hope someone reads this before the meeting:

Greetings from Queenstown. I’ve just read the PR group report in the agenda, and am happy with the suggestion of a neighborhood ing hosted on our section. The only problem is, as anyone who has been past will realise, is that the grass has got completely out of hand. Both our weed eater and the lawnmower have seized up, and my other arrangements for mowing have fallen through.

I’ve been considering calling in a contractor, but if any of the cohousers care to help out I would regard it as fair compensation for the disruption to my gardening plans.

The fence invasion took out part of the very area I had put so much work into, and the eventual removal of the vehicle track material will inevitably remove all that unicorn poo and seaweed hauled home to modify the clay.

The gardeners among you will understand how dispiriting this has been.

Good luck with the bigger issues on the menu tonight,

Rosemarie and Maurice
