Hi all, from what I understand, the Chorus guys will be on site on Thursday to work on the units that are having problems But Aotea still needs to do something before they can finalise their work. It is my understanding that what Aotea needs to do relates to one of the M units. I have asked Stefan to provide an update.

Also, there were 3 units without internet: Sandy and Frances, Roz and Mike, and Gay. It's likely that Chorus want Aotea want to get all 3 fixed up, then they would come and install all 3 at once.
The wiring outside Sandy and Frances's looks decidedly unfinished. So we're probably waiting for Aotea to schedule another time.
Thanks, Alex

For Gay. First, we need to know what aotea has installed If fibre access is complete, it may be best for Gay to contact Allister at Chorus directly. His number is 027 845 7645 He is the contact person for the UCOL install.

Can anyone update me on progress please?
The PCG meet monthly, and we had our last meeting recently. We were told that Aotea would be here on Wednesday, and they were.
The official channel to find out is through the PCG. The PCG ask Maria to talk to Stefan, who talks to S&W, who talk to Aotea.
Has Aotea finished?
Aotea don't talk to me or any of us that I know of. I'm not sure if they've finished your internet line. There is other stuff they haven't finished, e.g. the wash house.
Is Chorus underway?
I don't know.
Min was talking to Chorus and she may be willing to keep doing that?
All I have is a coil of electrical line sticking out of my wall.
That is a good sign. It may mean Aotea have done their part.
Tim can tell you when he submitted the final defects list, I think it was last week some time. S&W have a deadline of 20 working days from that date to have everything finished. So that would be by the 14th of May. But probably it will be done before then.
The next steps seems like we need to find out from Aotea if they are indeed finished, and if they have told Chorus they have finished. If they have, the company could also contact Chorus (who contract directly to us) and prompt them.
Aotea and Chorus have been talking to each other in the past, so I expect they will complete the job in due course. To make an official enquiry as I mentioned it would be in the first instance through PCG/Maria for Aotea and then Directors/Min for Chorus. All these people are doing it voluntarily.
The unofficial way would be to talk to Aotea workers when they are on site.
We were told they would be doing it last Wednesday and they were, I was hoping they would get it finished that day but obviously they didn't, so presumably they will come back another time to finish.
Thanks, Alex
