Hello everybody

I sent the usual message to the Star re our open day next weekend (it has to be sent one week in advance of publication) and was rung by Shawn McAvinue, who said he would like to do an interview on site.

I said I would have to refer the decision to the larger group, hence this email.

He would like to do it asap as he takes on a new role in rural reporting on 1 February. 

Ideally this should go to a group meeting but given how much we have on our agenda for next week, how busy everyone is, and his time constraints, perhaps we could call for a (young!!) volunteer to meet him and be interviewed? If it was someone with a child that would be great, but perhaps a child or teenager might agree to participate with someone else, not necessarily a parent?

I am happy to coordinate/communicate any offers.
