Hi All, 1) I have no particular preference for the numbering system, except to say we should consider our visitors - so the system needs to be clear for them. i.e. put yourself in the shoes of someone who has never even been to Dunedin before but wishes to visit one of us. 2) I agree that choosing a name for our buildings/community is a serious business and shouldn't be rushed. 3) Regarding the common house roof repair/upgrade - I'm very concerned about the amount of 'price creep' that is occurring. Soft ground, shared gas bottles, inter-floor acoustics vs floor materials, having to have subscription TV because there might not be a TV antenna, and now solar tubes. Really, some of these items could have been anticipated . . . I am in favour of curbing unnecessary spending - otherwise my unit is fast becoming unaffordable . . .
I'm aiming to be in Dunedin in about 3 months or so. See you all then.
