Kia ora Toiora (Not sure that the grammar is correct but I love the rhyming in the greeting)
Attached is a draft programme for the induction workshop. I'm counting on you to point out any errors or omissions so things can be fixed before Sunday. Anne and Catherine have frightened me with large number of people who may be present - all wanting to meet real cohousers - so I'm hoping as many as possible will be there for our shared lunch (finger foods) at 12.30pm.
From past experience we know many will arrive early, well before the
10.30am start, so if you are in the neighbourhood and could pop to the Sustainability Centre about 10am, help with meet and greet and join in the people bingo, it would be awesome, even if you leave as soon as the workshop starts.
*EVERYONE *PLEASE BE CAREFUL IF TALKING ABOUT WHICH UNITS MAY BE FOR SALE/RENT. *DCC have not officially indicated in any way that they wish to sell theirs so at this stage we must not be seen to be offering A2 for sale. * Warren is looking at selling his unit, so it is fine for him to talk about that, and we expect that there will be other owners who wish to sell or rent, but unless you are wanting to sell or rent your own unit, you mustn't be more specific about what will be for sale. We will be asking participants to put their contact details down on a list as either interested in buying, interested in renting or just interested. We'll offer to pass the list to cohousers who are looking for buyers or renters at time of settlement, but we cannot offer waiting list or any detail about any unit other than our own. *So at our Induction Workshop Please Don't Even Mention DCC !* Thanks Jan
