We agreed to wait until committing further expenditure from the company. Because we don't know how much money the company has.
But if people are willing to contribute extra amounts as gifts and loans we can spend using that money. We will not be committing any further expenditure from the company.
If people think we should not do any extra work on installing kitchen things yet then they wouldn't offer a loan or donation yet.
Personally I don't see any reason to delay it, we know we are wanting to/going to do it and we know a lot of it will have to come from donations or further contributions of some type, let's just get on with it.

The kitchen group recommended spending $20,000 (and up to $35,000) on the kitchen. It's still a bit of an estimate rather than an exact figure.
