Hi everyone, I agree with the recent emails from Claire & Miriam.
From reading the minutes I have sensed the tension that has arisen from "the conflicting demands of running a company doing a million-dollar project versus the time-consuming consensus-communal approach and need for people to ‘feel heard’." It would be much better if the head decisions were separated from the heart decisions.
We are a diverse group and at times it will hard to get along - but the more we talk openly with each other the more we will understand others' points of view. I feel sure that there are many differing ideas around which parts of our shared lives will be covered by implied compulsion and obligation. We need to at least skirt around a range of issues and see which ones matter.
I'm still on track for joining you all in Dunners in the first few weeks of July, and very much looking forward to participating in these discussions.
Cheers Warren
