Along with asking for brief bios from those with formal training / experience, we want people to be able to indicate their level of comfort / trust in approaching any of the residents of Toiora High St Cohousing over the age of sixteen for help in resolving an issue.
We hold that those aspects are important alongside any previous training/ expertise.
Consequently, no one needs to already be ‘an expert’ to be part of the group: we anticipate that the first group that forms the Conciliation team may be made up of a mixture of experience and hopefully, different backgrounds and ages.
In short, we want to encourage as many people as possible to let their names go forward, as while you might not personally see yourself as having the skills for this role, others may see you differently’.
