Hi All. Great discussion . Our family was and is for “Pueblo”. And in my humble view (with also some experience in my field of architecture) : pueblo goes well and better with cement and similar applications and scoria with steel hence the sample pictures sent , possibly both can do painted timber . We have some form of cement type and representaron, and timber is hard to represent with other materials . Ted Daniels color on the “Standard Building (thanks Rainer ) “ looks very appealing to me and in our situation.

Hi all Next time I’m on site (Thursday?), I will take a photo of both colours against the common house flaxpod to see how that looks. :) Rainer

Hi all,
I think that using different colours for the 2 blocks is NOT a good idea. For integrity of the project, I strongly suggest to use one colour for both blocks.
It can also be a good idea to bring this colour somewhere around Montpalier entrance... somehow... we can discuss this later.

Having seen it in real life, I like both colours (although still prefer the redder scoria)
Tim, Can we have different colours on each block? Maybe Scoria for Alva St, and Pueblo for High street or vice versa?

Having seen the painted samples on site I don't think the photos provided really convey the reality.
I had left the samples outside the High Street side of unit C1 for people to see in person but it looks like they have been moved.
I am not really advocating for one or the other but here are a few pics of buildings with scoria coloured cladding.
Tim.

if you want to see Pueblo on a bigger sample, nice mid tone between black (flaxpod, our roof) and white, I think.
