It is most definitely the case, as I have stated in numerous UCOL meetings, that I intend to have a pet. For 18 years I've intended it, and from March this year will be the first time it will have become possible.

Pets: sounds as if a tweak of the wording so people can't say 'oh well I always intended to have a pet'?
