Hi team: thanks for all the encouraging news re use of Zoom.

I’ve used it and/ or SKYPE for a national committee meeting for several years. In addition, I found adding in Coloured cards really helped us in doing so – it was easy for the ‘chair/ facilitator’ to see who wanted to speak and in which order. And also the ‘chat’ function of Zoom means you can register your wish to speak and or flag your orange card.

We’re a bigger group than my group was but I’m sure it can work. If you don’t have access to a set of cards, now’s your chance to gather some coloured items together to wave at the screenoranges, zucchinis, sunflowers and ? something blue from around the house – shouldn’t be too difficult. We’ve all shown great adaptability and capacity to think laterally in the past – we can do this again ( and again) as required, I’m sure!

Best wishes meantime, sun sort of out and gale yet to arrive…

Marianne
