Rather than take time in our meeting tonight, I thought I would report now:

I wrote to the six people on our waiting list.

Rosemarie and Maurice and Mike Hazel are both withdrawing from the waiting list but do not wish to have their money refunded - both are suggesting it could be put toward the work on the fence.

Three of the others on the list (Kevin Booth, Joe Booth, Feye Lyall-Lobb) wish to remain on the list,and remain interested in buying a unit.

Ken and Sue Pullar have asked to withdraw from the list, and I will organise the return of their $5000. (The Waiting list money is held in a separate account and does not impact UCOL's finances)

None of these people are interested in renting, but we are going to think about the 'stepping in" process for prospective tenants. Because they need to agree to be part of cohousing, they need to learn about cohousing and attend an induction workshop.
