Hi all, I am in the process of filing the 2020 Annual Return for UCOL with the Companies Office as it is now due. Could you please go to the UCOL page on the Companies Office and ensure that your address is up to date? https://app.companiesoffice.govt.nz/companies/app/ui/pages/companies/456803… You can also access the register by: 1) going to https://companies-register.companiesoffice.govt.nz/ 2) searching for URBAN COHOUSING OTEPOTI LIMITED 3) going to the tab that says "Shareholdings (23)" If your address is incorrect, please let me know ASAP. Hi, at the body corp rules meeting we raised concerns about the use of owner, occupier and tenant and suggested any place where one was used it should be checked. There wasn't time for this so we have used a gloomy day to make a start. The three words are not interchangeable and sometimes having a, /, or, and also makes a difference. We both felt we could do away with tenant (except for cl. 24 about leasing a unit) as tenants are occupiers. Also threw in a query about children earning hour-credits in the working bee section. Maybe our suggestions could be looked at at the next rules meeting? regds roz and michael

Visitors Sunday/Monday

Hi all, A couple of people from Ahi Wai cohousing (looks like it's in Whangarei) will be in Dunedin on Sunday and Monday. They are keen to meet up with other cohousing people. Would anyone be interested in doing that? I'm not really free on Sunday, but could meet them on Monday between 11.30 and 1.30 - probably at Alto cafe in Mornington. Anyone interested in joining me? Kia ora koutou A reminder that NumberWorks'nwords is upstairs at 90 Crawford St. There is tea, biscuits and instant coffee easily available with plenty of cups, but if anyone prefers plunger coffee they'll need to bring something to make it with. In the unlikely event that the door is locked when you arrive, text or call me on 0274554559 and I'll run downstairs and open it. Since Sunday is an unusual time for us to be open, it is possible that another tenant could over-zealously lock the door on their way out. I'll be there about 1.30pm to turn on heaters, so feel free to come a little early for a cuppa/chat or to get things set up. See you tomorrow Jan
