I arrived at 8am, there is a guy doing some finishing work in the common house and Sander and Karen's painter arrived to do the painting there. If people need access to their units today and tomorrow give me a call on 021 410 420 or see me in A4. I'm planning to go up to Active to see about blinds this morning and maybe do a couple of other errands, so it might be worth calling first to check I'll be there.
How do people feel about me putting a microwave in the common kitchen so I can heat up my lunch? Also a good idea to find the jug? so people can have a cup of whatever, although I won't use it.
Also do we have a plan for a washing machine in the common laundry? I will want to use that from when we move in if not during painting, so should we think about that now?
Thanks, Alex
I second the idea of having a kettle in the common house.
I understood for the laundry the intention was to put in a couple of existing machines (ones in our current houses which are not going into our units) to use them until they die, then replace with commercial grade machines. We have one, not particularly new and quite basic, which I am happy to bring, but not till we move because it is still in use.
