Hi All,
For those that have front gardens, we have been looking at getting a shipment of schist paving stones from our front door to our front gate.
In our case we were thinking about 5no. 500-700mm wide stones would do the trick.
According to Wanaka stone their pricing is:
“Generally people use our garden grade ($340+GST/bag) for this purpose, they are slightly more rustic than our premium version ($550+GST/bag) which are ideal for laying flat to place patio furniture etc on.”
Don’t 100% know how many stones are in a bag but was wondering who else might be interested in getting a shipment of these from central.
Let me know.
Cheers,
Tim.

From their website: "We supply pavers in bulk bags, each bag contained enough pavers for between 8-10m2 (depending on the style used). It is possible to purchase smaller quantities also."
So one $350 bag would do the front path of several houses, and more if they are just used as stepping stones (which is what I am thinking of currently.)
Not sure how to get that bag home on the bike though, I hope they deliver :)
Cheers, Alex

Hi All,
Looking at ordering the schist pavers I mentioned the other day.
Sizes vary but there are about 50 stones in a bag. These are the Garden Grade Pavers as seen here https://wanakastone.co.nz/products/
Warren has offered to collect them from Wanaka :)
A 1 tonne bag is $391 icl GST plus about $165-195 for fuel costs, trailer hire, RUCs etc.
How many people would be interested in buying some of these if they were around $12 per stone.
I would like to order this week if there is enough interest.
Cheers,
Tim
