The question came up of how to deal with deliveries to the common house. The suggestions were:
* Tell the couriers a door code for deliveries. They would be able to unlock the door as needed. This code can be changed as needed if it gets abused. * Put the lock on the inner doors instead of the outside doors on the main entrance facing the common green. This would mean the vestibule is always open and deliveries go there.
We will also ask the installer, but the first option seem like the best one in my opinion. If anyone has another suggestion let us know by tomorrow morning.
Thanks, Alex

I’m with Roz and would prefer the inside door has the lock and the couriers don’t need a code to deliver. If there are problems with this installation, we can get the locksmith in the future to change it to the outside door.

Also, not all deliveries are from a courier.

I also prefer the inner door to have the lock and deliveries left in the vestibule…. Catherine

Hi all: this option – the inner door- seems the most sensible to me. We talked about putting a table in that vestibule for this purpose.

Having the outside door open and the inside door locked makes more sense to me. For all the reasons mentioned -deliveries, shelter accessibility.

The indoor door looks like the better bet to Anna and me, so long as the locksmith thinks it’s strong enough.
