There is a slight change of venue, the seminar room we normally use is unavailable and we have been offered the staff room in the front of the building instead. I'm no sure what the staff room is like but it should be fine, and if not we also have another venue we can adjourn to if necessary. Site meeting

Hi all A brief report on today’s site meeting. The site is bussing with at least 20 workers! They will start painting the exterior on the common site of the first 8 units (C1 to D4) and hope to take the scaffolding down for 6 units by the end of Februar to be able to install the first external stairs and balconies for D1 and D2. S&W is hoping to roof and close in all of Alva Street by the end of March. Bill the foreman is happy for us to have a working bee to clear vegetation behind the common house. He suggested we use the Montpelier entrance as vehicle access, even though it’s not sealed yet. A Saturday morning till 1 is a good time. Let’s organize a day at the next meeting. Fundraising brainstorm for heritage fence funds

Hi all Attached is a brainstorm list of ideas as to how we can raise funds for seeding an appeal for grant applications to restore our heritage fence. It is a wide-ranging list and most of the ideas are outside of our usual activities (though I have already culled ideas such as 'sponsored abseiling from tall buildings' and 'limbo competitions' ). I suggest you read through, reject 90% of them, and come to the next meeting with your top 3 fundraising ideas that you think would work for us.
