Defects day

Hi Everyone, Stevenson and Williams have rounded up the tradespeople needed to deal with our various defects and they’ll be on site tomorrow at 9am to work through the list. If no one will be home at your unit, please make sure there is a key on the board in the commonhouse hot water cupboard so the tradie SWAT team don’t have to break the door down! Thanks, Anthony

Hi all: see attached. I have received one further correction to the notes from the meeting, as follows: " Catherine queried the suggestion that shareholders might be reimbursed their share holding of $5K. She reminded people that early on in the calculations of the project, in order to repay the $5,000 shareholding at the end of the project, it would cost the company approximately $7,500 to do so. At that time we agreed to use the whole shareholding in the build and running of the project in order to lower the cost price, and we would save money. The shareholding is necessary for the company to remain solvent - a requirement of the Company's Act'. Any other items, please send through. Visitors from Wairarapa

Hi all, The family from Wairarapa who planned to come down tomorrow are no longer coming - they've all come down with colds (or maybe RSV). So the guest room will not be used Monday/Tuesday. There are other people coming for the induction workshop, 6pm in the common house Tuesday night, and some staying for Toiora shared meal afterwards. Thanks for those who are able to be at the workshop. Well sort out who does what tomorrow. Amazing work on fences over the weekend, even in murky weather this afternoon. Thanks so much to Tim & Rainer and the others who were working on this yesterday and today. Anne

More grandparents

This morning we became grandparents - Samuel Benjamin Joshua Kleingeld was born in Wellington at 5.30 this morning. He's been in NICU today, but seems to be doing fine - just standard precautions, we are told. We look forward to meeting him on Thursday evening when we head up there. Anne and Ian Sent from my iPad
