Happy new year and I hope all is tracking well with the co-housing build.
We have just received LINZ approval for our survey plan.
I have attached a copy of the approved title plan, this will be particularly relevant for Simon but also for any further construction of the outdoor areas to ensure things are built within the relevant areas of each respective units’ ownership.
This should be everything on our side now complete, but we will remain happy to assist in any way required.

Thanks for the response, and the building time frames also.
Body corporate documents and covenants will be dealt with as part of the legal dealings submitted to LINZ. We are not involved with these legal aspects, so I would defer to Simon for his expertise on these documents.
From a survey point of view, there is nothing else we require at this stage.

Thanks for your email, great news that the DCC signed certification.
I will share this news with shareholders.
So just to confirm, this will go to LINZ and we will not need to include other documents: Body Corp or Covenant at this stage, correct?
As we are still discussing these two documents.

Good news is that the DCC have signed certification for the survey plan today, and they have actually signed all the certification that will be required (223(c), 224(c), 224(f) and 32(2)(A)).
We will complete a site visit prior to Christmas to double check a few of the aspects more recently constructed and prepare to lodge our survey plan for LINZ approval at the end of this year or the start of next year.
As Mark mentioned, LINZ approval for these types of plans are quoted at 20-28 working days.
Can you please confirm what the latest project completion dates are estimated at?

As previously discussed, we have created mathematical boundaries for the outdoor living areas in an effort to speed up process.
We have created the mathematical boundaries using the concrete cuts in the walls and the architectural plans showing the footpaths leading to each unit.
If the footpath formwork is to be completed soon, we could hold off on submitting our plans for LINZ approval, and check that the foothpaths will be within the boundaries as drawn.
If this work is not going to be completed soon, we can always mark out the mathematical boundaries on the ground to ensure the footpaths are built within the boundaries as drawn.
