Receipts for reimbursement

Hi all, I am aware that some people have bought some things for the group and would need to be reimbursed (e.g. letterboxes, numbers, no junk mail stickers green trolley, locks/chain, tables, chairs, fence material, concrete mixer, etc). If you haven't sent me the receipts yet, please do so now as we will have a budget control meeting soon to review/approve these reimbursements. The question came up of how to deal with deliveries to the common house. The suggestions were: * Tell the couriers a door code for deliveries. They would be able to unlock the door as needed. This code can be changed as needed if it gets abused. * Put the lock on the inner doors instead of the outside doors on the main entrance facing the common green. This would mean the vestibule is always open and deliveries go there. We will also ask the installer, but the first option seem like the best one in my opinion. If anyone has another suggestion let us know by tomorrow morning. Rubbish

I have spoken to Nick Wells at the DCC. Our 6 yellow and our 14 blues bins will be delivered to the kerbside on Alva St next Wed. They will need to be wheeled in, so if you are around and can do that, many thanks in advance. Our rubbish day is Tuesday and the contractor has been made aware that there are now 2 street frontages that formerly had no residences and now do, so they are changing their routes accordingly. I won’t be around next Tuesday, but would like to know if there are any problems. If rubbish is not uplifted please also ring the DCC call centre 4774000 to report. Next week is blue bin day. I will also be receiving a few cards for recycling rubbish weeks, if anyone wants those. There is also an app, which can used used to find this info out. Catherine

Our thoughts? So if we have ten courier companies delivering and the code needs to be changed we have to notify all ten? So we would prefer to see the lock go on the inside door and parcels get left in the vestibule. Also we might get a better length of use if keypad/lock protected from the weather. I had a think about this issue tonight. And I feel there is a limit to doing things as a whole group, and having "No Junk Mail" for EVERYBODY, is crossing that limit. I will be putting an individual "No Junk Mail" sticker on my mailbox, and am happy to buy a few extra stickers for those who want it on a first come first get basis. Will go sticker shopping tomorrow. Regards Min

Hi all, Now that the first round of early-movers-in are in place, and we still have not got to settlement, I should let Chris Hawker know who else wants to move in the coming week or so. I have Liz 10th, Jacks 14th, Min 16th, SueT maybe 27th (but surely by then we will have settled). Anyone else planning to move in during the coming week? Please let me know asap. Thanks, Anne
