Site meeting

Hi all, no photos today :( Things are moving along and it is 2 weeks to the Christmas brake on site. The first High Street units C and D have all their plumbing and electrical wiring in place. And all units have their stairs in. They are working on the ground floor sips of A5, I think they want to reach the end of the Alva Block before Xmas. The first 3 Alva units have their first floor in. Will be an exciting site visit in a week on Friday and Saturday! See you Thursday Rainer Please call me if you need an urgent reply. Fridge/ freezer selection

Hi everyone, I have now added the options for fridge/freezers that I got from F&P.They all have the freezer section at the bottom, and concealed door handles. I received quotes for both stainless steel or white finishes in the two larger sizes (no quote for a white 375L, however. If this is the option you want to go for, let me know). Note that the largest 442L fridge is 680mm wide and can only be placed in H and A units. The remaining units (D, C and M) have been designed to accomodate a 633mm wide appliance, so the 375L and 402L options are for these units. Also note that depending on the design of your kitchen, it is important to determine in which side the door hinges of your fridge freezer are. For that purpose, I added another column for you to select this. A right handside hindge will open from left to right, and a left door hindge from right to left. PR neighbourhood event

Hi everyone In the hope someone reads this before the meeting: Greetings from Queenstown. I’ve just read the PR group report in the agenda, and am happy with the suggestion of a neighborhood ing hosted on our section. The only problem is, as anyone who has been past will realise, is that the grass has got completely out of hand. Both our weed eater and the lawnmower have seized up, and my other arrangements for mowing have fallen through. I’ve been considering calling in a contractor, but if any of the cohousers care to help out I would regard it as fair compensation for the disruption to my gardening plans. The fence invasion took out part of the very area I had put so much work into, and the eventual removal of the vehicle track material will inevitably remove all that unicorn poo and seaweed hauled home to modify the clay. The gardeners among you will understand how dispiriting this has been. Good luck with the bigger issues on the menu tonight, Rosemarie and Maurice
