Please note *this week's meeting will be held at The Sustainability Centre, University of Otago* because NumberWorks is running a holiday course late into the evening this week. Sander has kindly booked for the next 5 Thursdays (just in case). Feel free to continue to add to this agenda, or to suggest re-ordering if you are worried that your item may not be reached. Progress on body corp rules

Min worked over the weekend to produce a minimalist/clean/standard set of body corp rules. They have been sent to our lawyer for his comment. (Along with the current draft of the Toiora High St Cohousing Membership agreement) The directors, Sandy and Donald will meet with the lawyer on Wednesday afternoon - the earliest appointment we could get. Greetings all you wonderful worker bees who are creating such a wonderful place for us all. Sue will chair and I will notetake for the last time in January this week, so it's time to get your agenda items for Thurs 28 January to me. I'm expecting there'll be a lot of people getting in line to volunteer as notetaker or chair for February. First to put up their hand wins the prize. I'll confirm location when I send out the draft agenda in a couple of days. Sander is attempting to get the Sustainability Centre because this week there's a holiday course running at NumberWorks'nWords' with classes running until 7.30pm. Since I'm experimenting with retirement I can get away early for notetaking and leave the new manager to look after things, but tricky for him to do that if we have a meeting starting at 7.30pm where students working :-) See you Thurs Jan

One: You will remember the starting point for this was Alex saying we urgently need a group of people to oversee and coordinate the finalising documents related to settlement. Alex is prepared to convene this group as these are the urgent tasks and coordination and timeliness is paramount. Within that group we need the following volunteers: A specific person/group to bring legal and financial documents to the group, A specific person to liaise with the surveyor, A specific person to liaise with the DCC. Additionally we have: Min overseeing the finalising of Body Corporate rules, Warren overseeing the finalising of the Cohousing Membership Agreement, Maria liaising & investigation mortgages, Anne liaising with insurance broker. Please contact Alex (and let me know) if you can volunteer for any of the above Two: The other, less urgent, tasks are on the amended list attached. Only two have no names alongside them: coordinating move in days/times, and donations/storage of tools etc., for the garden shed.
