Now we can get up close without bothering workmen… Note the green colour does have one unanticipated disadvantage — the dust shows up in dried raindrops. Hopefully the street won’t be as dusty in future, or else the house proud will be constantly out there doing wet dusting.

Hey all you cool cats and kittens Attached are what I think are the final notes from the 23 April meeting. However I know that some of you have not read the draft ones because only two people emailed with corrections .... and they weren't the people whose names I had incorrect. I feel I should probably give you a bit more time to get back to me with corrections (given that in the past it has taken me a week just to get the draft notes to you) but I'm trying to tick off as much as possible from my list so that I can get my American Culture Fix for the next week. So, unless I get a big outcry, here are the final notes from 23 April. Keep smiling. :-) Jan
